Apprentice fitter Paul Wilson has now also joined the ranks of our driving staff and doubled his capabilities by successfully passsing his driving test for fulll sized buses and coaches at just 18 years of age.
Paul, who joined the Company in 2009 as an apprentice commercial vehicle technician, recently succesfully completed his driver CPC and theory test qualifications before passing the practical driving test with flying colours. Although primarily employed as part of our team of engineering staff, his new qualification means that he can now drive PCV's on test drives as well as providing additional cover for local school and service routes.
Paul, who is currently undertaking an NVQ qualification in commercial vehicle technology, is looking forward to driving buses and coaches on the Company's daily home to school transport contracts to gain valuable experience to supplement his chosen career. Stephensons are delighted to add Paul to the ranks of its driving staff and look forward to continuing to help him develop his newly acquired skills.
