I am writing to thank you for your efficiency and caring attitude during our traumatic trip to Filey when it rained and rained! Paddy, our driver, was friendly, courteous and most of all patient with our children. We were stranded on the beach for a while during the downpour and Paddy kept in touch with us, giving advice and reassurance in very difficult circumstances. When we returned to the coach his care for the safety of the children was evident.

I recently went to Wales for a week with a group organised by our local church.  Our coach driver was Gary.  He was excellent, coping with challenging driving on unfamiliar routes comfortably and confidently.  It was also nice that he joined in some of the group activities when appropriate and when it fitted in with his duties.  Your coach was also very comfortable and  Gary kept it very clean.

Just a brief word of thanks to the management for making it possible for Gary to be our driver on our recent pilgrimage/holiday in Wales. He was exceptional in his care for us, many 'seniors', being patient and thoughtful as we entered and left his coach at our fairly frequent stops.

Gary's driving skills were seriously tested as he negotiated narrow lanes and seemingly impossible turning areas which he somehow managed to accomplish with great skill and gained much admiration from the drivers among us who could only shudder at the thought of having to do it. The fact that Gary could stay with us for the week instead of having to find a local coach company to take us out daily was also an asset.

We greatly appreciated his personality and sensitive company with us.

Our school has just arrived back from a Battlefields and Memorials Tour to France/Belgium. The driver was Trevor.

Throughout the tour his driving was exemplary: staff commented on how safe Trevor's driving was. As leader of a tour group, it is comforting to know that you do not have to worry about that aspect of the trip. Trevor also worked in close cooperation with our tour guide to make sure the tour was a fantastic success.

Hi Stephensons

I just want you to know what an absolute star Jenny was this weekend driving us to our London Theatre Break.

Due to the protests and riots going on conditions were incredibly difficult and unpredictable.  Jenny was amazing, staying calm and taking care of us all with the utmost courtesy at all times and making sure we all got safely back on Saturday night, (well Sunday am,) after all the events going on in the city.

Most impressive was her turning the coach around on a tight London street when our route was blocked by an incident/accident, even the pedestrians watching gave her a round of applause!  Please ensure that she gets a great big gold star,  she deserves it!

We were stuck on the M1 south in the snow yesterday at the same time as two of your coaches.

We followed them off the motorway and all the way through St.Albans. It was frightening to drive in those conditions but following your coaches helped us to stay positive, knowing that if they could do it then so could we.

Re:  Your Driver 'KEITH' - Trip to Great Yarmouth & Thursford

I am just writing to say what a most professional courteous driver Keith is along with great interpersonal and people skills.

On Friday when I was picked up what a warm welcome awaited me, a friendly driver welcomed me aboard a beautiful clean warm coach for our journey to pick up the rest of the passengers, which due to extreme weather conditions and grid locked traffic proved to be time consuming, but Keith made it it as pleasant as he possibly could, our journey to Great Yarmouth was smooth with Keith at the wheel. I was part of a party of six, one of whom was in a wheelchair the others being registered disabled and shall we say of mature years!  Keith gave every consideration he could and every passenger on the coach was treated with great respect and had  a good time.

Please convey our gratitude to Keith for making our journey and holiday break a happy one;  what an asset to your company he must be.

Firstly may I apologise for my delay in contacting you, and secondly my praise where it’s due.

We recently had the pleasure of partaking in a break away with National Coach Holidays to Rothesay on The Isle of Bute, Scotland. The coach was provided by yourselves with Driver, Trevor.  

Never have we had such a pleasurable journey aided by Trevor’s knowledge and humour. The coach was very clean and the main reason for my email, as I said before, is praise where it’s due.

We regularly use National Holidays and hope we have the pleasure of this amiable fellow again.

He was a pleasure to be with, taking great care with his driving, he was courteous, polite, and conscious of other road users.

Often individuals or groups complain at little things, and rightly so, but are not always ready to compliment when the service or situation warrants it.

I must take the time to thank your firm for its professionalism and excellence during our annual trip to Somerset this year.

During a weekend I believe that it is imperative that the driver becomes part of the trip whilst always keeping a professional distance from the more, shall we say, 'loud' elements that make up our weekend.

To this end, Keith, our driver should be given full marks.  Firstly, and most importantly to you, he is an excellent driver.  Secondly, he has become an integral part of our trip with his humour, patience and flexibility.  We have, and always will I believe, be a very happy bunch over the weekend and some of Keith's statements had my lot in stitches.

I am writing to you concerning the above trip. This is the first time we have used any coach service, as with smaller numbers in the group in the past we have employed a self-drive minibus. It was a great pleasure not to have to worry about route-planning, map-reading, parking, etc.

We were very impressed with Trevor from all viewpoints: his responsible driving, his friendly but not overly familiar manner, his helpfulness and his rapport with the youngsters.

Overall, it was a very pleasurable experience and we would not hesitate to use Stephensons again - asking for Trevor if he were available - should the opportunity arise.
